Dream to play 2017, 2018 seasons at Hank McCamish Pavilion of Georgia Tech campus

The Atlanta Dream will be playing its 2017 and 2018 WNBA seasons at the Hank McCamish Pavilion of the Georgia Tech campus.

The main reason for the move is because the Philips Arena, the team's current home court, "will not be available."

From the Atlanta Dream website:
"The Atlanta Dream will play the 2017 and 2018 seasons at Hank McCamish Pavilion on the campus of Georgia Tech, team officials announced on Monday.
The Dream will be relocating to the 8,600-seat McCamish Pavilion as Philips Arena will not be available.
In addition, any 2016 home playoff contests hosted by the Dream will also be held at McCamish Pavilion, as Philips Arena has multiple conflicting events during the majority of the playoff schedule."
The Dream currently hold a 13-12 record in the 2016 WNBA regular season and are in fourth spot in the league standings.

Just last month, the Minnesota Lynx also announced that they will be playing their 2017 season at the Xcel Energy Center as the Target Center will be renovated.
