FIBA announces 2017-18 EuroLeague Women teams


After a draw held in Munich, Germany last week, the 2017-18 FIBA EuroLeague Women groupings are now set.

Defending winners Dynamo Kursk of Russia are in Group A along with USK Prague, Castors Braine, Bourges Basket, Sopron Basket, ESBVA-LM, and Galatasaray.

Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce, last year's runner-up, headlines Group B, which also includes Russian sides UMM Ekaterinburg and Nadezhda Orenburg, Wisla Can-Pack, CB Avenida, Yakin Dogu University, and Famila Schio.

The last slot in Group A will be decided by CCC Polkowice and Piestanske Cajky while BLMA and KSZ Szekszard battle for the last ticket in Group B. Both match-ups shall be home-and-away and shall be played in September.
