Los Angeles Sparks forward and reigning Finals MVP Candace Parker won the Best WNBA Player in the 2017 ESPYS, the third time she has won the award.

Parker led the Sparks to the 2016 WNBA title, averaging 19.3 PPG, 8.7 RPG, and 3.2 APG throughout the 2016 playoffs. It was Parker's first championship in a career highlighted by two WNBA MVPs, two Olympic gold medals, and being a member of the WNBA 20@20 team.
