USA to host Australia, Canada, France in four-team tournament

As reported on the USAB website, the USA women's national basketball team shall host Australia, Canada, and France in a four-team tournament from July 27 to 31 as the team continues to prepare for the 2016 Olympics.

The tournament shall have three stops: Newark, Delaware, Bridgeport, Connecticut, and New York.

The USA Basketball Showcase shall begin on July 27 with a 5 p.m. ET clash between Australia and Canada at the University of Delaware’s Bob Carpenter Center, followed by a 7:30 p.m. ET duel between the USA and France.

The July 29 games shall be at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport. Australia battles France at 4:30 p.m. ET, while the USA takes on Canada at 7 p.m. ET.

Madison Square Garden hosts the July 31 games. Canada takes on France at 1:30 p.m. ET; USA faces Australia at 4 p.m.

The USA Olympic team is composed of Tina Charles, Diana Taurasi, Angel McCoughtry, Maya Moore, Sylvia Fowles, Brittney Griner, Seimone Augustus, Sue Bird, Lindsay Whalen, Tamika Catchings, Breanna Stewart, and Elena Delle Donne.
