Seattle Storm to retire Lauren Jackson's no. 15 jersey

The Seattle Storm have announced that the franchise will retire WNBA legend Lauren Jackson's no. 15 jersey on July 15. Jackson's number will be the first to be retired by the franchise.

Jackson led the Storm to two WNBA titles. She was a three-time WNBA MVP and a three-time WNBA scoring champion. Jackson has career averages of 18.9 PPG, 7.7 RPG, and 1.8 BPG.

Jackson was named part of the WNBA's All-Decade Team, all-time top 15 players, and WNBA Top 20@20.

Jackson was also a legend for her home country. She led the Australian Opals to three silver medal finishes and a bronze medal finish in the Olympic Games. She was also a four-time WNBL MVP.
