Lynx set new record for best start in WNBA

After beating the Indiana Fever, 87-63 on Tuesday night, the Minnesota Lynx have now set the record for best start in a WNBA regular season with 11 wins.

The Lynx bested their own record in the 2012 regular season when they started their campaign with 10 straight wins.

The Los Angeles Sparks can tie that record as well. The Sparks haven't been beaten in 10 games, which is already a franchise record for the team. The 10 straight wins to open a season eclipsed the Sparks' previous record of nine which was set twice (2001, 2003).

The Lynx and Sparks won't meet until the 21st, and given the way these two teams have dominated opposition so far, it's very probable that both will remain undefeated until next week.
