Sky's Laney, Fever's Lucas both out for rest of WNBA season due to ACL injuries

Chicago Sky guard Betnijah Laney and Indiana Fever guard Maggie Lucas will both be out for the remainder of the 2016 WNBA regular season after injuring their ACLs on separate occasions.

Laney tore her left ACL during the Sky's game against the Washington Mystics last June 3. Lucas tore her right ACL weeks ago.
Laney, a reserve guard, played in eight games this season, averaging 5.3 minutes per game.

Lucas, a third year pro, averaged highs of 7.8 PPG, 2 RPG, and 52.4 percent field goal shooting in four games played.
