Greetings! Here's the open thread for a three-game Sunday slate in your 2016 WNBA regular season.
— ConnecticutSun (@ConnecticutSun) June 18, 2016Tipping off at 1 p.m. ET is a battle between the San Antonio Stars and Connecticut Sun. The Stars (2-8) and Sun (2-10) are currently the two worst teams in the league standings. Both are coming off losses and are eager to pick up a third win. The Sun themselves are on a three-game losing skid.
At 2 p.m. ET is the New York Liberty-Indiana Fever duel. The game is on NBA TV, WNDY, and MSG.
The Liberty (7-4) have won three in a row and seek to extend that winning streak. A win would also allow them to tie the Atlanta Dream (8-4) for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Fever (5-7), meanwhile, are currently in eighth spot in the overall standings and will try to avenge a 91-59 loss against New York two weeks ago.

In the last of three games today, the Minnesota Lynx (11-0) will look to extend their best start to 12 wins when they visit the Seattle Storm (4-8). The game will be shown on JoeTV.
The Lynx set the record about a week ago, but the Los Angeles Sparks (11-0) tied the record as well. A win for the Lynx will also make the June 21 Lynx-Sparks duel a battle between undefeated squads.
The Storm, meanwhile, hope to avoid further struggles. The team has lost two in a row and four out of its last five outings.
