2016 FIBA OQT Women Day 5: Belarus, Korea arrange duel for last Rio ticket

The 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Nantes, France has come down to one last battle. Belarus and Korea dispatched their foes, and will meet in the tournament's battle for fifth match. The winner of that match will take the last ticket to the Rio Olympics.

Here is the Day 5 round-up of the tournament.

Korea 81, Cuba 62



Korea leaned on its outside shooting to oust Cuba and advance to the battle for fifth place of the tournament.

The Asian squad began pulling away in the second period when Kang Ajeong hit three straight triples, giving Korea a 37-26 lead.

Korea outscored Cuba 25-15 in the second quarter, and took an 11-point advantage entering the halftime break. The team were never threatened after that point, as it moved one win away from returning to the Olympic games.

Kang topscored with 22 points. Kim Dan Bi added 17 points while Yang J finished 12 points and seven rebounds. Korea shot 11-for-22 from three-point area in the win.

Leidys Oquendo had 19 points for Cuba. Anisleidy Galindo added 12 points.

Korea is trying to return to the Olympics after it had missed the 2012 London games.

Belarus 84, Argentina 44



A 20-3 first quarter was all Belarus needed to break away and drub Argentina in the other classification match.

Belarus scored the game's first nine points and never looked back to seal a rematch with Korea.

Five players scored in double-digits for Belarus. Tatsiana Likhtarovich led all scorers with 19 points. Maryia Papova added 13 points while Yelena Leuchanka finished with a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Belarus led by as much as 44 points and shot 54.4 percent from the field as a squad.

Agostina Burani had 11 points and nine boards for Argentina. Macarena Rosset added nine points.

Belarus is trying to make the Olympics for only the second time in history. The nation first made the games back in 2008 in Beijing.

Belarus and Korea have met in the first round, with Korea winning 66-65.
