Stars to retire Becky Hammon's no. 25 jersey

The San Antonio Stars announced Wednesday that the team will retire former Stars guard Becky Hammon’s No. 25 jersey on Saturday, June 25 when the Stars host the Atlanta Dream.

Hammon spent eight of her 16 seasons in San Antonio, before retiring in 2014 and being named San Antonio Spurs assistant coach.

The six-time all-star is currently the Stars' all-time leader in points, assists, and field goals made. Hammon averaged 13 PPG, 2.5 RPG, and 3.8 APG in her career.
