2016 WNBA season Game Thread: Lynx battle Storm

Here is the open thread for the two 2016 WNBA regular season games this Sunday.

Tipping off at 3 p.m. ET is the match between the Chicago Sky and Atlanta Dream. Both teams are 1-1 so far in the season and both are coming off losses. The Sky lost to the Minnesota Lynx, 97-80 although they drew 28 points on 12-for-20 shooting from Elena Delle Donne. The Dream dropped their game against the Indiana Fever, 94-85.
This is the Dream's home opener and it will be on NBA TV and Fox Sports Southeast. This is one of the rare games shown on NBA TV given that the NBA playoffs is still on-going.

At 7 p.m. ET, the defending champions look to sustain their winning run against the Seattle Storm. The Lynx are 2-0 in the season, beating their first two opponents by an average margin of 18 points.

But the Storm are coming off a confidence-boosting 81-80 win over the Phoenix Mercury, behind a career-high 30 points from Jewell Loyd, who also hit the game-winning jumper. This is another big test for the Storm to see how they can match up against a heavyweight. This is their home opener as well, so Storm fans will finally be able to see Breanna Stewart play at home. The game is on Joe TV as well.
