2016 WNBA season Game Thread: 3-game Friday

Here's the open thread for today's slate of games in the WNBA regular season.

The Washington Mystics look to avoid a 0-3 start for the first time since 2007 when they host the Los Angeles Sparks. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. ET. The game shall be on Monumental and TWC SN/TWC D.
This is the third of three straight home games for the Mystics, who are still without Ivory Latta. The Mystics dropped their games against the Dallas Wings (87-77) and New York Liberty (87-76). Tayler Hill scored 20 points on both occasions.

On the other hand, the Sparks shall try to follow-up on their 96-66 season-opening victory over the Seattle Storm, where Candace Parker scored 34 points on 12-20 shooting.
Also tipping off at 7 p.m. ET is the battle between the Atlanta Dream and Indiana Fever, which shall be on  Fox Sports Indiana and Fox Sports Southeast.

This is the last of three home games to open the season for the Fever. The Fever have split their first two assignments, losing to the Wings (90-79) before bouncing back with a win over the Phoenix Mercury (97-93). The Atlanta Dream are undefeated, winning their opener over the San Antonio Stars on the road, 73-63.
At 10 p.m. ET is the Mercury's home opener. They will go up against a fellow winless team in Seattle. The Mercury lost to the defending champions Minnesota Lynx last weekend, 95-76 and the Lynx's fellow finalist last year, the Fever despite a combined 50 points from Diana Taurasi in those two contests.

The Mercury hope to avoid falling to a 0-3 record as well. The Storm look to recover from a season-opening loss to the Sparks, where Breanna Stewart had 23 points and seven boards.
