Look: UConn stars pose for photo after USA-Canada exhibition

The United States women's basketball team defeated Canada, 83-43 on Friday in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The game was watched by over 7,000 fans, and saw six players from the University of Connecticut starting.

USA and UConn head coach Geno Auriemma started Maya Moore, Diana Taurasi, Tina Charles, Sue Bird, and Breanna Stewart while Kia Nurse also got the nod for Canada.

"We did the same thing in Delaware with Elena (Delle Donne) Sunday, it will be somebody different at the Garden. We haven’t had the same starting five in any of the games that we’ve played. And I don’t know who the starting five is going to be once we get to Rio," Auriemma shared.

"I thought to myself. I asked Cheryl. I said Cheryl, ‘If you were the head coach instead of me, you would start Stewie, right? Because it’s the right thing to do.’ She said, ‘yeah.’ I said, ‘Okay, then I’m not going to worry about it.’ So I did it. I thought it was fun. It was fun for the kids and fun for the fans."

After the game, all six Huskies from different generations posed for a photo -- something women's basketball fans won't see that often.

"It’s a special kind of moment and taking a picture after the game really drove it home, because it’s not something we have given much thought to. But wow, with Stewie being young, Diana and Sue being older and me and Tina in the middle it was really rewarding," Moore said.

"It is pretty incredible. A lot of people talk about, ‘last Olympics you had six UConn players and this year you have five.’ How can you argue it? You’re talking about some of the best basketball players in the world, and, yes, they happen to come from the same program. Is that a coincidence? I don’t think so, but I also don’t think it’s necessarily anything to hate on. It’s the reality of the situation," Bird added.

"We all came from the same place, and in a lot of ways, think the game the same. And when you have people, no matter if you played with them in college or, in my case, if you’re 14 years older, it seems to mesh well. I’m playing with Stewie (Breanna Stewart) now in Seattle, and it’s so easy."

Just look at the all the greatness in that one photo.
